Organic Black Bean Turkey Pesto Noodles!

Since eliminating gluten for the last few years I naturally avoided pasta, as most pasta is made from wheat. The brown rice pasta I tried I wasn’t a fan of the texture or taste. My girlfriend introduced me to these tasty, joyful, noodles and I now cook with them at least once week. Not only are they low in carbohydrates, but they are high in protein, low in fat, and high in fiber! Plus they only take a few minutes to cook! You can purchase them in bulk at Costco or at save-on-foods.

Simply place the noodles in boiling water for 4-6 minutes (they cook quite quickly). On a ceramic non-stick pan or stainless steal (avoid teflon pans) cook the organic ground turkey on medium heat, with a minimal amount of extra virgin organic coconut oil. When the turkey is cooked evenly mix the pesto sauce into the turkey. When the noodles are ready, strain and mix the meat on top! I enjoy this meal so much my mouth is drooling while writing this post. Garnish green onions, cilantro and a dash on cayenne pepper on top for an extra kick!
