The way you looked at me with those big, beautiful eyes when I said “I love you.”

Every corner of our home holds pieces of you. And everywhere I turn, the tears come again.

I remember when we first brought you home, and I would race from the parkade to the elevator just to see you.

My partner laughed and said, “You’re not going to be this excited every time.”
.
But I was. EVERY single time.
.
Even when I was out, I’d think, “I wonder what my dog’s are doing? 🤪I want to go home. I miss them.”
.
And you were there for some of the darkest chapters of my life, giving me comfort, PURPOSE, and the space to heal.

But everything shifted in ways I could never have imagined after having a baby.

My time, energy, and focus had to turn toward Crew—this tiny new life that needed so much of me.

8 weeks Postpartum today! More then halfway throug

8 weeks Postpartum today! More then halfway through the newborn aka pure exhaustion stage

Postpartum is hard.

You feel so empowered as a new mom but also so delicate and sensitive at the same time.

The hormone drop and emotional 😭 roller coaster ride makes you reevaluate every aspect of your life

But the love you have for your baby makes your heart explode and question what was life even before you?🥹

Feeding my baby has been the biggest challenge 🤯

I wish more women talked about just how hard breast-feeding is (at least it is for me)

Crew had Tougue tie surgery at 4 weeks as he didn’t have the range of motion to be able to latch effectively on the breast🤱

Administratering these tougue stretches 6x a day + listening to your Baby scream each time is not for the faint of hearts

But, I’m happy to say Crew is NOW fed almost 🙏100% Breast milk 🥹 where he was 50% formula only a week ago

But it took me 8 Long weeks to get here, and it was HARD work (with a lot of tears) and it STILL is a lot of hard work.

And through these eight weeks, it was such a struggle when your sleep is broken, the postpartum rage kicks in, and the the Baby is fussy as hell …

You constantly ask yourself how long can I continue doing TRIPLE FEEDING, until it negatively effects my mental health?

But I’m so glad I didn’t give up - this is mental toughness at its finest🥷

I think the most difficult part for me, is the uncertainty of the unknown

Will he be able to fully breastfeed?

Will my baby latch without a nipple sheild?

Is he getting enough milk from my boob each feed?

Will this one day all click with all the work Crew and I are putting in daily?

For now, I’m going to focus on the
magic ✨in the madness and celebrate how far we have come together

Motherhood is ✨ beautiful but it’s also the sharpest learning curve I’ve ever experienced at 21 Days #postpartum
.
🤯 TRIPLE FEEDING is my life right now 😳
.
1️⃣ Pumping – 8x a day, basically a full-time job: 3AM, 6AM, 9AM, 12PM, 3PM, 6PM, 9PM, 12AM… REPEAT
.
2️⃣ Breastfeeding – Getting him on the boob consistenly and getting him to latch and also learn this skill
.
3️⃣ Bottle Feeding – Giving him the liquid gold then topping off with formula at night because my supply isn’t there (yet).
.
As a new mom, it’s easy to focus on what feels like shortcomings—like struggling to do something that’s supposed to be so “natural.”
.
But let me tell you… breastfeeding has been the HARDEST part of this journey.
.
Last week, I finally got Crew to latch with a nipple shield, and I cried tears of joy—I’m like “I am finally feeding my baby from my body.” 🙏🥹
.
Then, at my lactation consultant appointment, I learned… he’s not actually transferring milk properly. *Sigh. 🥹
.
So, in reality, my boob is more of a light appetizer than a full-course meal.
.
And after more digging, we found out 💙Crew has a significant tongue tie, meaning exclusive breastfeeding won’t be possible without him having surgery.
.
So here I am, triple feeding, exhausted, as the days blur together and proper sleep what is that 🤯🤣? But a friend told me…
.
“The days are long, but the years go by fast.” And that really stuck with me.

This is just a season—a season of sacrifice, patience, and relentless love.
.
A reminder that even in the hardest moments, I am showing up, I am learning, and I am ENOUGH. ❤️

The universe doesn’t always give us what we want—it gives us what we need to GROW.
.
It challenges us in ways that feel impossible, not to break us, but to reveal the strength that was within us all along💙🙏
.
And right now, in this season, I am learning just how strong a MOTHERS LOVE can be. ❤️✨

You Finally decided to make an appearance 40 weeks and 4 days late!
.
My birth plan and labour did not go as I expected to say the least.

How come no one told me you can projectile vomit when go into labour? 🤮

I threw up for 32 hours straight and could only keep done ice chips.

I went into it thinking I would try for a non medicated Birth, shit son, boy was I wrong😂

My pain thershold and mental toughness is 💪 STRONG for A LOT of things.

Child birth NOPE.

Thank god for drugs.

I took them ALL.
.
And without them, I honestly don’t think I would have been able to do it.
.
The drugs helped me mentally and physically cope through the most excruciating pain in my life.

And my my mantra “This 2 shall pass” I kept on having to repeat that over and over and OVER in my head

And just continuously telling myself It would all be worth it in the end to hold my baby boy Crew 💙
.
For ME, my pregnancy was Hard.
.
The labour, delivery and physical recovery is next level so far.

Did I love being pregnant. Not at all.
.
So when people tell you to enjoy your pregnancy and honour this time (I get that)
.
But everyone has their own individual experience and what may feel magical for some women - can feel like a very hard isolated emotional time, where you feel you are constantly losing yourself.
.
I love being a mom 💙 and I would have gone through this entire experience again if I knew what was waiting at the end of these hard 10 months (But ALSO thank GAWD I don’t have to 🙏)
.
To all the moms ❤️that have reached out,
I appreciate you, I honour you for sharing your stories and letting me know the challenges and set backs you have faced with your own journey 🙏

Now to EMBRACE the newborn stage - he’s just so Micro and cute 🥰

The emotions, the fears, the uncertainty of birth feels overwhelming at this stage.

Your hormones are flaring and you find yourself crying, then angry, then happy, then just SO F*cken uncomfortable in your body.

This final stage feels like an eternity - like ground hogs day 😩

Pregnancy has stretched me to my limits both mentally and physically.

My body changes, my emotions are heightened—I’m caught between mourning my old life and feeling anxious yet excited for what’s ahead.

After birth, I know the hormonal shift is overwhelming, and that breastfeeding can feels like a full-time job on its own.

And then there are the profound shifts in our identity, the rearranging of our priorities, and the unexpected ways our relationships change.

8 weeks Postpartum today! More then halfway through the newborn aka pure exhaustion stage

Postpartum is hard.

You feel so empowered as a new mom but also so delicate and sensitive at the same time.

The hormone drop and emotional 😭 roller coaster ride makes you reevaluate every aspect of your life

But the love you have for your baby makes your heart explode and question what was life even before you?🥹

Feeding my baby has been the biggest challenge 🤯

I wish more women talked about just how hard breast-feeding is (at least it is for me)

Crew had Tougue tie surgery at 4 weeks as he didn’t have the range of motion to be able to latch effectively on the breast🤱

Administratering these tougue stretches 6x a day + listening to your Baby scream each time is not for the faint of hearts

But, I’m happy to say Crew is NOW fed almost 🙏100% Breast milk 🥹 where he was 50% formula only a week ago

But it took me 8 Long weeks to get here, and it was HARD work (with a lot of tears) and it STILL is a lot of hard work.

And through these eight weeks, it was such a struggle when your sleep is broken, the postpartum rage kicks in, and the the Baby is fussy as hell …

You constantly ask yourself how long can I continue doing TRIPLE FEEDING, until it negatively effects my mental health?

But I’m so glad I didn’t give up - this is mental toughness at its finest🥷

I think the most difficult part for me, is the uncertainty of the unknown

Will he be able to fully breastfeed?

Will my baby latch without a nipple sheild?

Is he getting enough milk from my boob each feed?

Will this one day all click with all the work Crew and I are putting in daily?

For now, I’m going to focus on the
magic ✨in the madness and celebrate how far we have come together

“Real superheroes don’t fly — they lift others up every single day. We call them Moms”

Motherhood is ✨ beautiful but it’s also the sharpest learning curve I’ve ever experienced at 21 Days #postpartum
.
🤯 TRIPLE FEEDING is my life right now 😳
.
1️⃣ Pumping – 8x a day, basically a full-time job: 3AM, 6AM, 9AM, 12PM, 3PM, 6PM, 9PM, 12AM… REPEAT
.
2️⃣ Breastfeeding – Getting him on the boob consistenly and getting him to latch and also learn this skill
.
3️⃣ Bottle Feeding – Giving him the liquid gold then topping off with formula at night because my supply isn’t there (yet).
.
As a new mom, it’s easy to focus on what feels like shortcomings—like struggling to do something that’s supposed to be so “natural.”
.
But let me tell you… breastfeeding has been the HARDEST part of this journey.
.
Last week, I finally got Crew to latch with a nipple shield, and I cried tears of joy—I’m like “I am finally feeding my baby from my body.” 🙏🥹
.
Then, at my lactation consultant appointment, I learned… he’s not actually transferring milk properly. *Sigh. 🥹
.
So, in reality, my boob is more of a light appetizer than a full-course meal.
.
And after more digging, we found out 💙Crew has a significant tongue tie, meaning exclusive breastfeeding won’t be possible without him having surgery.
.
So here I am, triple feeding, exhausted, as the days blur together and proper sleep what is that 🤯🤣? But a friend told me…
.
“The days are long, but the years go by fast.” And that really stuck with me.

This is just a season—a season of sacrifice, patience, and relentless love.
.
A reminder that even in the hardest moments, I am showing up, I am learning, and I am ENOUGH. ❤️

The universe doesn’t always give us what we want—it gives us what we need to GROW.
.
It challenges us in ways that feel impossible, not to break us, but to reveal the strength that was within us all along💙🙏
.
And right now, in this season, I am learning just how strong a MOTHERS LOVE can be. ❤️✨

You Finally decided to make an appearance 40 weeks and 4 days late!
.
My birth plan and labour did not go as I expected to say the least.

How come no one told me you can projectile vomit when go into labour? 🤮

I threw up for 32 hours straight and could only keep done ice chips.

I went into it thinking I would try for a non medicated Birth, shit son, boy was I wrong😂

My pain thershold and mental toughness is 💪 STRONG for A LOT of things.

Child birth NOPE.

Thank god for drugs.

I took them ALL.
.
And without them, I honestly don’t think I would have been able to do it.
.
The drugs helped me mentally and physically cope through the most excruciating pain in my life.

And my my mantra “This 2 shall pass” I kept on having to repeat that over and over and OVER in my head

And just continuously telling myself It would all be worth it in the end to hold my baby boy Crew 💙
.
For ME, my pregnancy was Hard.
.
The labour, delivery and physical recovery is next level so far.

Did I love being pregnant. Not at all.
.
So when people tell you to enjoy your pregnancy and honour this time (I get that)
.
But everyone has their own individual experience and what may feel magical for some women - can feel like a very hard isolated emotional time, where you feel you are constantly losing yourself.
.
I love being a mom 💙 and I would have gone through this entire experience again if I knew what was waiting at the end of these hard 10 months (But ALSO thank GAWD I don’t have to 🙏)
.
To all the moms ❤️that have reached out,
I appreciate you, I honour you for sharing your stories and letting me know the challenges and set backs you have faced with your own journey 🙏

Now to EMBRACE the newborn stage - he’s just so Micro and cute 🥰
